Graduate Opportunity – Future Teachers Programme (Primary Education)
Location: Salisbury
Start Date: September 2026
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Role
Successful candidates will work in a primary school in Salisbury as a Cover Supervisor. In this role, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Deliver pre-set lesson materials (no planning or marking required)
- Ensure students remain engaged and on task
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
This position offers valuable insight into the teaching profession while allowing you to build confidence in a classroom setting.

Programme Experience
During your placement, you will:
- Keep a reflective journal of your experiences
- Observe lessons across various subjects
- Learn effective teaching strategies, behaviour management, and differentiation
- Support pastoral care and student development
- Gain insight into school policies and procedures
- Develop subject-specific teaching knowledge
- Assist students with coursework and exam preparation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
