We are recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Milton Keynes. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. No previous teaching experience is required, making this the perfect stepping stone into education.

The Role

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Encourage student engagement and participation throughout lessons.
• Support students aged 11–16 in achieving their learning objectives.
• Build confidence leading classes independently.
• Gain experience across different subjects, year groups, and school settings.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding expectations.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in a subject taught within the secondary curriculum (or a related discipline).
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is confident speaking in front of groups and leading a classroom.
• Is passionate about working with young people.
• Is considering a future career in teaching or education.
• Is organised, adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn.
• Has, or is willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
