Geography Teacher

Are you a Geography Teacher looking for flexible teaching work within the Liverpool and Wirral area? Are you looking for full or part time roles, or the opportunity to work within a number of secondary schools on a day to day basis? Due to an expected increase in demand for the January 2021 intake, Teaching Personnel is recruiting Geography Teachers for temporary short or long term assignments in secondary schools in and around Merseyside.

Teaching Personnel are currently the preferred supply agency to a number of secondary schools within the Liverpool and Wirral area. Due to an expected increase in demand for specialist Geography and Humanities Teachers, a number of secondary schools have requested for Geography Teachers (and Humanities Teachers) for day to day cover, full time and part time roles.

Whether you are a Newly Qualified Teacher of Geography or an experienced Teacher of Geography looking to network in a number of new schools as a supply teacher, we are able to provide you with regular daily/long term work. Whether you are looking for 2 or 5 days flexible work a week we would like to hear from you. Working on a supply basis will require you to ideally have your own form of transport as sometimes we may call you on the morning of work at short notice. We also have a number of pre-planned absences where we will be able to provide you with advanced notice of work allowing you plenty of time to prepare for the day ahead.

• Geography and Humanities Teachers
• Specialising in Geography at Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
• Work within a number of secondary schools in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas
• Earn between GBP110 – GBP180 per day (depending on experience and position undertaken)
• Market leading education agency to support you through the process  

Geography Teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

• Hold an accredited UK teaching qualification
• Have good behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different schools behaviour policies
• Be prepared to cover a range of subjects as and when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
