Job description

Supply Geography Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic Supply Geography Teacher to support post-16 students (ages 16–18) at a welcoming secondary provision in Wimborne. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a calm, supportive learning environment.

Students have a range of additional learning needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate learning difficulties

  • Hours: 6 hours per week, based on 2 half days (Flexible options: two mornings, two afternoons, or one of each)

  • Start Date: Immediate – from 23rd February

  • End Date: 17th July 

  • Location: Rural setting – driving is essential

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting SEN students is desirable (not essential)

  • Confident classroom presence with a nurturing approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
