Are you passionate about Geography and enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of geographers? We are seeking a motivated and committed Teacher of Geography to join our vibrant and supportive Humanities department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a teacher with a few years of classroom experience who is eager to develop their practice and contribute to a thriving school community.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 (Years 7–13). The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and the ability to bring Geography to life in a way that captivates and motivates students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback

Support students in achieving their academic potential and fostering a love of the subject

Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment activities
Essential Requirements:

A degree in Geography or a closely related field

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or working towards it
-
A passion for teaching and learning
-
Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Willingness to engage in the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
