Geography Teacher – Full-Time

Sherborne, Dorset
Start Date: September

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and committed Geography Teacher to join our vibrant school community from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about geography and enjoys bringing the subject to life in the classroom. The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are enthusiastic about helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them while achieving their full academic potential.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and independent thinking.

  • Build positive relationships with students and maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.

  • Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development.

  • Enjoy contributing to the wider life of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
