Geography Teacher – Rye

Location: Rye, East Sussex
Salary: £32,000 – £51,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Rye. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students’ curiosity about the world while delivering high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Previous experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• Passion for Geography and student success
