The Role

The successful Geography Teacher will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.

• Supporting students to develop strong geographical knowledge, analytical skills and critical thinking.

• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing meaningful feedback.

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour, effort and achievement.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.

• Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Geography Teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching Geography within a secondary school.

• Has strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum.

• Can plan and deliver creative, engaging and challenging lessons.

• Has confident classroom management and communication skills.

• Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to student success.

• Works well as part of a supportive department and wider school team.

• Has a genuine passion for Geography and inspiring young people.
