Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Start Date: April 2026
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our successful secondary school in Accrington. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of Geography, covering a maternity leave from April 2026.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that foster curiosity and a love for learning.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school policies.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental development.

- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
