GCSE Tutor - Sunderland (SR5)

Part-Time | Weekday School Hours

Are you an experienced tutor or educator with a passion for helping young people achieve their academic potential? We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Tutor to support students in the Sunderland (SR5) area through personalised learning programmes.

The Role

As a GCSE Tutor, you will provide one-to-one tuition, helping students build confidence, improve subject knowledge, and work towards their academic goals. Sessions will be tailored to individual learning needs and delivered in a supportive and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality GCSE tuition on a one-to-one basis.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
  • Support learners in developing confidence and study skills.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback on achievements.
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE-level students.
  • Strong knowledge of core GCSE subjects, particularly English, Maths, or Science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage young learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
