GCSE Tutor - Chester (CH3)

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced GCSE Tutor to support students in the Chester (CH3) area through 1:1 tuition sessions.

This role involves working with secondary-aged pupils who require support in preparation for their GCSE examinations. Many learners may have additional needs, so experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

The role:

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 GCSE tuition sessions
• Support students in core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science where required
• Create personalised learning plans tailored to individual student needs
• Help students build confidence, improve attainment, and prepare for examinations
• Complete lesson feedback and progress reports after each session

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience
• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the GCSE curriculum
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
