GCSE Tutor - Carlisle (CA3)

GCSE Tutor Needed - Carlisle (CA3)

TP-Tutors are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced GCSE Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for students in the Carlisle (CA3) area.

Role Details

  • Location: Carlisle, CA3
  • Position: GCSE Tutor
  • Type of Work: 1:1 Tuition
  • Subjects: English, Maths and/or Science
  • Hours: Flexible, part-time
  • Working Hours: Weekdays during school hours
  • Pay: £25-£30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK teaching qualifications or have relevant tutoring experience.
  • Have experience supporting students working towards GCSE examinations.
  • Be confident delivering engaging, personalised lessons.
  • Be able to build positive relationships and motivate learners.
  • Have a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience supporting students with SEN.
  • Experience working with learners who require additional academic support.
  • Knowledge of the current GCSE curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
