Functional Skills Tutor – ST16 2LQ, Stafford

Location: ST16 2LQ, Stafford
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across ST16 2LQ, Stafford. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners build confidence and develop their English and/or Maths skills through personalised support.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition sessions.

  • Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs.

  • ➕ Support learners in Functional Skills English and/or Maths.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning styles, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

✅ What We're Looking For

✔ Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
SEN experience.
✔ Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.
