Functional Skills Teacher

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and experienced tutors to deliver Functional Skills Maths and English sessions in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This is a rewarding opportunity for qualified educators who are passionate about helping learners achieve their potential outside of the traditional classroom setting.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality one-to-one or small group tuition in Functional Skills Maths and/or English

• Tailor lessons to suit individual learning styles and needs

• Create engaging, structured lesson plans and materials

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Support learners with exam preparation and confidence building

Requirements:

• Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills Maths and/or English

• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills

• A patient and adaptable approach to teaching

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
