Unqualified Primary / Secondary Teacher – Full Time

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Pay: £120 per day

Are you confident in the classroom and passionate about supporting students? We're working with local schools in the RCT that are looking for a Cover Supervisor to help support their school.


Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across various subjects
  • Supporting the learning environment while maintaining behaviour and focus
  • Taking registers and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff
  • Adapting quickly to the needs of different classrooms

  • Have a good understanding of core subjects and the UK curriculum
  • Are confident, adaptable, and resilient
  • Possess strong classroom management skills
  • Value clear communication and student wellbeing
  • Are reliable and enthusiastic about working in education

Requirements

We can guide you in securing the following essential checks and registrations:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two professional references covering the past two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
