The Role

As the Reception Class Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate learning experiences for early learners.
• Foster a supportive classroom where pupils feel safe, valued and inspired to grow.
• Promote positive behaviour and use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a purposeful learning environment.
• Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs, ensuring they are fully included and able to thrive.
• Work collaboratively with staff to uphold inclusive practice and contribute to the school’s caring community ethos.
• Celebrate diversity and promote values of equality, respect, and belonging.

The Ideal Educator

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• Experienced in primary teaching, ideally EYFS/Reception.
• Confident in behaviour management and creating a positive classroom culture.
• Passionate about supporting pupils with ALN and committed to inclusive practice.
• Adaptable and proactive, able to contribute to the wider school community.
• Warm, reflective and child-centred, with a genuine commitment to helping all learners succeed.
• Comfortable working in a diverse school, celebrating different cultures, backgrounds and needs.
