Teaching Assistants Required - Central Cambridgeshire

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Central Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in education.
Whether you're an experienced TA, recent graduate, aspiring teacher, or someone with transferable experience working with children, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, EAL, and additional learning needs where required.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management.
What We're Looking For
✅ Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
✅ A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
✅ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
✅ Relevant qualifications or educational experience are advantageous

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
