French Teacher

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed French Teacher to join a welcoming school in Milton Keynes (MK6).

The Role

• Teach French across the relevant age and ability ranges.

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons.

• Complete regular marking and provide high-quality feedback to students.

• Assess and monitor student progress.

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.

• Contribute to the wider Modern Foreign Languages department.

• Maintain high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support excellent outcomes for students.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• A degree in French or an appropriate French-related qualification.

• Relevant teaching experience or a PGCE with French as a specialism.

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching French.

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.

• Experience or confidence with planning, marking and assessment.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
