About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced French Teacher to join a secondary school in Liverpool. The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have proven experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role requires an educator who can deliver the full French curriculum while providing personalised, inclusive 1:1 support to SEN learners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the full French curriculum to secondary students.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for SEN learners.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes language development and confidence.
  • Collaborate with SEN support staff and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in French.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
  • Proven ability to work with students with SEN and adapt lessons accordingly.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
