Forest School Teacher (Part-Time, Mornings)
Location: Bournemouth, Kinson | Start: April 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Teacher to lead an exciting Forest School programme in a welcoming mainstream primary setting. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of outdoor learning to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support children’s wellbeing.
The Role:
You will take the lead in planning and delivering engaging, hands-on outdoor learning experiences for pupils across the school, including teaching mixed year groups. From woodland exploration to creative, nature-based learning, you’ll bring the curriculum to life while fostering independence, resilience, and teamwork.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planning and delivering inspiring Forest School sessions for mixed-age groups of pupils
- Designing a progressive, creative outdoor curriculum
- Differentiating activities to meet a range of ages, abilities, and needs
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging outdoor learning environment
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
- Managing resources and maintaining outdoor learning spaces
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Forest School qualification (Level 3 desirable)
- Experience teaching primary-aged children across multiple year groups
- Confidence in adapting teaching for mixed-age and mixed-ability groups
- A creative, proactive, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for outdoor education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
