KS1 Teacher – Mixed Year 1/2 Class (Part-Time)
Sherborne
Start: After Easter 2026
£120–£140 per day
4 Days per Week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Ongoing Position
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a confident and adaptable KS1 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Sherborne. This role involves teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class and is set to begin after the Easter break, continuing on an ongoing basis.
This class would benefit from a teacher who is strong with behaviour management, able to set clear expectations and routines, while also bringing a calm, patient and nurturing approach to the classroom.
The Role:
- Teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class
- 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Maintaining positive behaviour strategies and creating a supportive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching Key Stage 1
- Be confident managing behaviour while maintaining a calm and supportive classroom presence
- Be adaptable and proactive in supporting pupils with varying needs
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Be passionate about helping young learners thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
