Full time maternity cover for a Food Technology Teacher to join the department and teach to KS3/KS4 students

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client secondary school for a Food Technology teacher to cover a maternity. The Maternity is due to start in January 2021 and will be a full-time position. The school is keen to speak with experienced or NQTs who are interested in the position, can teach Food Technology to KS3/KS4 and is available full-time. 

If sucsessful, the incoming Food Technology Teacher will take on full departmental responsibilities of a permanent member of staff, including parents evenings as well as planning and marking.

-          Full time position for a Food Technology Teacher or Newly Qualified Food Technology Teacher

-          Working within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school in the Durham area 

-          Paid in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS) and responsibilities within the role

-          Access to excellent CPD and training courses through Teaching Personnel

The school is a large modern secondary school and has state of the art facilities throughout, resulting in excellent teaching and learning provisions for all. The Headteacher has opened this vacancy to both experienced Food Technology Teachers and for Newly Qualified Food Technology Teachers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
