Flexible Supply Teacher (ECT or Experienced)

Location: Speke, Liverpool
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Flexible shift patterns

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)


About the Role

We are seeking passionate and adaptable Teachers, whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator, to work across a range of schools in the Speke area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while enjoying the flexibility to suit your lifestyle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across different year groups and subjects, following school curriculum guidelines.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity and high standards of education.
  • Be prepared to work in various schools within the Speke area.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing ECT induction.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt quickly.
  • Experience working with children in UK schools.
  • Willingness to complete CPD and stay updated with best practices.
  • Flexible and reliable, with excellent communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
