Location: Wirral
Start date: ASAP, November and Janaury
Contract: Pre-booked supply, short-term and flexible cover
Pay: £135 (ECT) to £170 per day, short-term
Would you like the flexibility of supply teaching without relying solely on last-minute calls each morning?
Teaching Personnel is recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to support a well-established Multi-Academy Trust across the Wirral. The Trust regularly requires teachers for pre-booked cover, giving you greater notice, more consistency and the opportunity to build relationships across a familiar group of schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, returning teachers and part-time educators who want flexible work while maintaining more control over their weekly schedule.
What’s available?
The Trust requires teachers for:
- Pre-booked daily and weekly cover
- Planned staff absence
- PPA and leadership release time
- Short-term sickness cover
- Training and course cover
- EYFS, KS1 and KS2 teaching
- Full-time and part-time assignments
- Regular work across the Trust’s Wirral schools
You can let us know which year groups, locations and days suit you. There is no expectation to be available five days a week, making this a great option for teachers who want flexibility around other commitments.
Pay rates
Rates start from:
- £135 per day for Early Career Teachers

- Adapt activities to support pupils with different abilities and needs
- Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and school staff
- Follow the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Leave a clear handover for the returning teacher

- Recent experience teaching or working in a UK primary school
- Confidence teaching across at least one primary phase

- Opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- No planning expected for standard daily cover
