Flexible Day-to-Day Primary Teacher
Liverpool, L5 Area
September 2026 Start | £120 - £160 per day | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to provide day-to-day and short-term cover across a range of primary schools within the L5 area of Liverpool. This role offers flexibility and variety, making it ideal for experienced teachers looking for a better work-life balance, as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs) seeking to gain valuable classroom experience across different year groups.
You will have the opportunity to work across Reception through to Year 6, supporting local schools with planned and emergency staff absence while delivering engaging lessons and maintaining positive learning environments.
The Role
As a Flexible Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Mark work where required and provide feedback to school staff.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leadership teams.
- Support schools on both short-term and day-to-day assignments.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Are confident teaching across primary age groups from Reception to Year 6.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Are flexible, reliable and professional.
- Can quickly build rapport with pupils and staff.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Are open to travelling to schools within the Liverpool L5 area.
