We’re currently working with a number of secondary schools across Bristol who are seeking passionate English teachers. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply, a longer-term placement, or support in finding the right permanent role, we can help you find a position that suits your career plans.
This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced educators who want to gain experience in different schools while we help secure the right role for the future.

Responsibilities
-
Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (can be KS5)

Encourage students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and analysis

Adapt teaching approaches to support students with varying needs, including SEND
-
Track and support student progress and attainment
-
Contribute positively to the wider school community
Ideal Candidates Will Have
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
-
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
-
Effective classroom management skills
-
A genuine enthusiasm for supporting student development in literacy
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
