Job description

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in education?
We’re looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team working across secondary schools in Rochdale and Heywood.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom professionals looking for flexible work in education.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising classes across a range of subjects.

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Supporting students to stay engaged and on task.

  • Building positive relationships with staff and pupils.


What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • Confidence to lead a class and handle a variety of situations.

  • Previous experience in a school or youth setting is desirable but not essential.

  • A genuine interest in education and young people’s development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
