Job description

We’re looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a number of secondary schools in Rochdale and Oldham from September.

This is a flexible opportunity where you can choose the type of work that suits you. Whether you’re looking for regular full-time work, a few days a week or something more flexible around your availability, we can look at schools and placements based on your interests, experience and preferred location.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their work in the absence of their usual teacher.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school
  • Is confident managing a classroom independently
  • Can work across KS3 and KS4
  • Has strong behaviour management skills
  • Is reliable, adaptable and confident working in different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
