Female P.E Teacher (KS3/KS4) - Full-Time

Our renowned secondary school in Portsmouth is currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time P.E Teacher, specialising in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Job Responsibilities: As a P.E Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in a range of physical activities and sports. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Planning and implementing engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Promoting a love for physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among students.
  • Identifying and supporting the individual needs of students, providing guidance and feedback to help them progress.
  • Organizing and overseeing extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the P.E curriculum.

Qualifications and Requirements: To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Specialization in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching P.E at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels, preferably within a secondary school setting.
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and promoting physical activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to plan and deliver lessons that foster student development.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of teaching and learning.
