Salary: £31650 - £49084 Per annum (teacher pay scale)

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
• Organise and supervise sports activities and competitions
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical education classes
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Physical Education or related field
• Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years of teaching experience in Physical Education

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Physical Education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or Physical Education
• Experience coaching sports teams

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily in a school setting
• Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for sports events
• Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
