Early Years Teacher (Nursery)
St Helens (WA11)
Full-Time | Fixed Term (September 2026 – December 2026)
Competitive Daily Rate - £120 - £232.56 (DOE)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a Primary School in St Helens, working within their Nursery provision.
This is a full-time role starting in September 2026, initially until December 2026, with potential for extension.
The Role
- Full-time Nursery Teacher within an EYFS setting
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Lead a well-supported classroom with 3 Teaching Assistants
- Plan, assess and monitor pupil progress
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Please note: This is a new intake of pupils, therefore SEN requirements are currently unknown.

The Ideal Candidate
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
- Experience within EYFS / Nursery settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Confident working alongside and directing support staff
- Passionate, patient, and adaptable
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
