EYFS Teacher
Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EYFS teacher to work in a one form entry primary school in Middleton (M24). Teaching Personnel are working to recruit a teacher to join an engaging, inclusive Early Years Foundation Stage team, to start in January due to a resignation.
Working closely with the staff within the Early Years Foundation Stage team, the class teacher role will consist of:
- Planning and delivering high quality lessons using the EYFS framework,
- Support children’s learning and development by using a range of continuous provisions: learning through play, outdoor learning, and focused learning,
- Monitoring of pupil’s development and providing effective feedback,
- Creating challenging and stimulating resources and activities,
- Meeting the needs of all pupils by supporting less able students whilst challenging the most able pupils.
We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who hold Qualified Teacher Status to apply for this role. Ideally, the candidate will have experience teaching in EYFS with knowledge of the EYFS curriculum having the opportunity to plan and deliver continuous learning provision. However, experience in Key stage 1, especially Year 1, would also be beneficial. Interest is welcomed from early career teachers and experienced practitioners alike.
Previous understanding of schemes of work for core and foundation subjects within EYFS would be valuable, alongside previous knowledge of assessing pupils in EYFS using tracking tools such as Tapestry will help you to jump straight into the role of the class teacher. Being able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how children learn early reading, writing and maths with experience of using systematic synthetic phonics would be advantageous
Working with Teaching Personnel offers the following benefits:
- Full-time position,
- Pay ranging from £140 - £200 daily, before M scale consideration
- Temporary position until the end of the year
- Earnings paid weekly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
