Part-Time Reception (EYFS) Class Teacher
Wednesdays – Fridays

We are seeking to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and committed Reception (EYFS) Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at our faith school, located near Garstang.

This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE) working Wednesdays to Fridays, starting 13th April 2026, for a fixed term of 12 months.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for a Reception class within the Early Years Foundation Stage

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to support every child’s development

  • Support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of our faith school

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)

  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective early years practice

  • Is caring, reflective and passionate about teaching young children

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Is supportive of the aims and ethos of a faith-based school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
