Teacher – SEND (EYFS)
Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes
Start Date: 23rd February 2026
Contract: Full-time (term-time)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our specialist SEND school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, supporting four non-verbal pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
This is a rewarding role for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful difference to children with complex needs.
The Role

Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred EYFS learning tailored to individual needs

Support four non-verbal pupils, using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or sensory-based communication

Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and families
-
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
-
Support pupils’ communication, social, emotional, and sensory development
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience working in SEND and/or EYFS (essential)
-
Confident supporting non-verbal children and children with complex needs
-
Patient, resilient, and highly empathetic
-
Strong teamwork and communication skills
-
Knowledge of sensory integration and early communication approaches is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
