ADVERT 5 — EYFS Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified Only)

(Blackburn & Darwen)

Job Title: EYFS Practitioner – Level 3 Qualified
Location: Blackburn & Darwen
Contract: Full-time, part‑time and flexible roles available
Pay: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour (equivalent to £85–£100 per day)


About the Role

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to work across nurseries and Early Years units in Blackburn & Darwen.
You will play an essential role in supporting children’s early development, delivering high‑quality care, and contributing to a nurturing, stimulating and safe learning environment.

This advert specifically targets qualified Early Years professionals, ensuring a strong and experienced applicant pool.


Requirements (Qualified, Experienced Candidates Only)

Applicants must have:

✔ A full Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
✔ Recent experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or primary school)
✔ Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
✔ Ability to support learning through play and structured activities
✔ Knowledge of child development, safeguarding and early years routines
✔ An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

❌ Not suitable for candidates without a Level 3 qualification.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support children aged 0–5 in line with EYFS curriculum requirements
  • Deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play
  • Assist with observations, learning journals and progress tracking
  • Provide high-quality care, supervision and early education
  • Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Support SEN and speech & language development where needed

  • Passion for Early Years and child development
  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
  • Good behaviour management and communication skills
  • Creativity in planning and delivering EYFS activities
  • Confidence supporting children with varying needs and abilities
