Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Salary: £77-£85 per day, dependent on experience and school

Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Luton as a full-time Experienced Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective strategies and interventions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support students with varying needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges.
• Contribute to the overall well-being and social development of students.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with a focus on SEN.
• Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
• Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are highly desirable.
