Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location: Luton
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £77-£85 per day, dependent on experience and school
Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Luton as a full-time Experienced Teaching Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective strategies and interventions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students with varying needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and social development of students.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with a focus on SEN.
- Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
