1:1 ESOL Tutor – Solihull Area
Location: Solihull and surrounding areas
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible Hours
Setting: Pupil’s Home or School Setting
Working Hours: During School Hours
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 ESOL Tutor to support learners in the Solihull area. This role involves delivering personalised English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tuition either in a pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 ESOL tuition based on individual learner needs.
- Support pupils in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
- Plan and adapt lessons to suit varying language levels and learning styles.
- Build confidence and encourage active participation in learning.
- Track progress and provide feedback where required.
Requirements:
- Experience in tutoring, teaching, or supporting ESOL learners is preferred.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and ESOL teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to learner needs.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
