Salary: MPS/UPS rate paid as a daily rate equivalent - proof must be provided of MPS or UPS

Job Duties:
- English Teachet to deliver engaging and comprehensive English language lessons to students
- Plan and prepare lesson materials that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through various assessment methods
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development in English
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and respect
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with teaching methodologies and best practises
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' academic progress and any concerns
- Contribute to the overall school community through involvement in extracurricular activities or events during this temporary contract
Required Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification specialising in English (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- A degree in English or a related field with minimum 2+ years exprience teaching if no QTS
- Proven experience teaching English to students
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational standards
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- A Qualified English Teacher
- Previous experience teaching English to students, preferably in a secondary school setting
- Deep understanding of English language and literature
- Familiarity with different teaching methodologies and approaches
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in using educational technology
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school environment with classrooms and other educational facilities
- Normal working hours follow the school schedule, Monday to Friday typically 8:20am to 3pm
- May require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events outside regular working hours
