Full time English Teacher (Bolton) Feburary 2020 to July 2020 Maternity Cover

This is a full time temporary post for an English teacher working in a well resourced English department in a mixed Bolton secondary school. If you are a competent and dedicated English teacher looking for your next full-time teaching position then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Due to an upcoming maternity leave in the English department, the secondary school located in Bolton are looking for an English teacher until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS - GBP23,720 - GBP40,490

The successful English teacher will be joining a friendly team of teachers and pupils alike, within a large comprehensive school on the outskirts of Bolton. The school is home to pupils over 1,000 pupils and was recently graded as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted in 2018, making it the school of choice for teachers, pupils and parents. As a result, the school are looking to appoint a dedicated English teacher who will work in line with their high reputation and attainment.

The secondary school is located on the suburban outskirts of Bolton, easily accessible via the M61 motorway. The school offers a secure, onsite car park for staff. For non drivers, the school is accessible via public transport from Bolton town centre and other surrounding areas in Wigan and Bury.

English teachers interested in applying for this position will have;

-          Hold QTS with specialism in secondary English

-          Experience  teaching across the ability range (KS3/GCSE)
