Job Advert: English Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Wheatley
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Open to ECTs/NQTs, HLTAs, and Cover Supervisors (must be confident delivering English curriculum)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher to join our dynamic school in Wheatley. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, and we welcome applications from ECTs/NQTs, Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs), and Cover Supervisors looking to step into a teaching role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop a love for literature and language while achieving their academic potential.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work, ensuring all students make progress.
- Work collaboratively with the English department to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

- A passion for teaching and a strong subject knowledge in English.
- ECT/NQT, HLTA, or Cover Supervisors looking to progress into a teaching role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to inspiring young minds and contributing to a vibrant school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
