English Teacher – Weymouth

Full-Time – Starting January 2026

A dynamic and well-regarded secondary school in Weymouth is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team. This full-time role begins in January 2026.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing confidence, strong skills, and a genuine interest in the subject.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language

  • Effective behaviour management and excellent communication skills

  • A commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality learning opportunities
