The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students in developing their literacy, analytical, and communication skills
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Contribute to the wider school community where required

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Pay & Benefits

• Flexible daily supply opportunities with rates from £130 - £160 per day
• Full-time opportunities available across a range of secondary schools
• Full-time positions paid to scale, reflecting the additional responsibilities of planning, preparation, assessment, and marking
