You will be delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. Schools are looking for teachers who can motivate learners of all abilities, manage behaviour effectively, and contribute positively to the wider school community. Strong subject knowledge, creativity in lesson planning, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching English are essential.

To be considered, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting, and possess strong classroom management skills. A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although we can assist with this if needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
