English Teacher – Newton Abbot
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with secondary schools in the Newton Abbot area to recruit a dedicated and confident English Teacher for a long-term role. This position offers stability and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupils’ progress and outcomes.
The Role:

Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
-
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
-
Assessing and tracking pupil progress to support achievement
-
Contributing to a supportive and collaborative English department
-
Long-term position with potential for further opportunities
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds QTS or is working towards QTS
-
Has strong subject knowledge in English
-
Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations
-
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
