Job description

English Teacher Required – September 2026
Location: MK3 (Milton Keynes)

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and dedicated Teacher of English for September 2026. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge, eager to contribute to the continued success of the English Faculty and develop their leadership potential.

The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and learning in English
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with a focus on raising standards for all students
• Be able to teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach at Sixth Form level
• Be committed to ensuring all students achieve strong progress and outcomes
• Have the drive and determination to motivate both students and colleagues
• Bring a creative and energetic approach to teaching and learning
• Possess strong organisational skills
• Have the vision to contribute to the development of the English curriculum
• Be open to innovation, change, and new ideas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
