English Teacher – Full Time (Milton Keynes Area)
Salary: £150 – £230 per day
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated English Teacher to complement our enthusiastic and knowledgeable team. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a desire to build strong relationships within the team and across the school. The English department is a friendly, hard-working team, committed to inspiring a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking, in addition to consistently producing strong examination results. The strong team ethos of collaborative planning and shared resources enables students to make excellent progress in English across all key stages. We offer a diverse and engaging curriculum, exploring a wide range of texts, genres, and perspectives, helping students to understand the power and relevance of language in the real world. Students are encouraged to become articulate, reflective learners who can express themselves confidently and effectively, preparing them for the next stage of their lives.
The Role:

Full-time English teaching position across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)

Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love of English

Monitor and support student progress to ensure strong outcomes

Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE desirable

Alternatively, substantial experience teaching English in secondary schools
-
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

Ability to travel within and around the Milton Keynes area
-
Driving licence preferred, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
