Salary: Pay to scale from day (£168.80 - £232.56)
Teaching Personnel are recruiting a passionate and adaptable English Teacher for autumn term cover at a local secondary school in Middlesbrough.
The Role
- Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Follow lesson plans and provide feedback and marking where required
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified English Teacher (QTS or working towards)
- ECTs/NQTs are very welcome - induction hours can be completed through us
- Confident classroom presence and strong subject knowledge
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable
- Up-to-date DBS or willingness to obtain one, plus satisfactory background screening

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
