Fully Qualified English Teacher

Location: Liverpool

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic, fully qualified English Teacher (QTS) to work across a range of vibrant secondary schools in the Liverpool area. We are looking for a dedicated educator with solid experience delivering the full English Literature and English Language curriculum, who can confidently engage learners of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English Literature and Language across KS3–KS5.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with diverse learning abilities, including those with SEN requirements.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
  • Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment that supports student success.
  • Collaborate with department staff, senior leaders, and support teams to maintain standards of teaching excellence.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Proven experience teaching the full English curriculum at secondary level.
  • Ability to teach confidently from KS3 through to KS5.
  • Understanding of inclusive teaching practices and experience supporting SEN learners.
  • Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to raising pupil attainment.
