We are currently seeking a full-time KS3/4 English Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school community starting in September until the end of the academic with the potential to become a permanent position. As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping our students' language skills, critical thinking abilities, and passion for literature.
The Role:
As a dedicated and innovative English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students through the power of language and literature. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
- Instilling a love for reading, writing, and exploring various forms of literature.
- Providing comprehensive instruction in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing.
- Employing modern teaching techniques, including interactive activities, discussions, and multimedia resources.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Passion for the English language, literature, and effective teaching methodologies.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
