English Teacher – Bradford Secondary Schools
Location: Bradford (BD1 – BD18)
Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Supply
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

Are you an enthusiastic and creative English Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of learners in Bradford?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with several secondary schools across the Bradford area who are seeking passionate English specialists to join their teams. Whether you’re an experienced classroom teacher or an ECT ready to take the next step, we’d love to hear from you!

The Role:

  • Delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with opportunities to teach KS5).

  • Planning and preparing lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and literacy skills.

  • Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.

  • Supporting the wider school community through collaboration and enrichment opportunities.

What You’ll Need:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
✅ A strong passion for English Language and Literature.
✅ Previous UK secondary school experience (essential).
✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
